To support your staff and get them working to their full potential, we recommend our Employer and Employee Support Scheme that...

  • Optimises performance and eradicates blocks
  • Improves staff retention
  • Intervenes early to prevent emotional or psychological problems from escalating
  • Reduces stress and prevents burnout
  • Stops conflict between individuals
  • Gets staff back to work sooner after sick leave
  • Settles individuals or groups down after a distressing incident
  • Provides specialisms, eg anger management

We can help you with the following areas:

Prevention means helping your senior staff to recognise sooner, and optimally manage vulnerable people or groups, who may be experiencing stress, aggression, or approaching burnout. Prevention programmes increase sense of wellbeing, belonging and professional worth. We supply this service by training your senior management, by helping you to manage change and loss and by providing key personnel with strategic skills.

Early intervention delivers employee wellbeing programmes to employees who have fallen ill or have a patchy attendance record. Absence for emotional or psychological reasons, including preparation to return to work after physical illness, will be markedly improved by short-term focussed support. Should you have any specific individuals who struggle to work together, or teams that seem perennially to under-perform, one or two sessions of Mediation can be usefully deployed.

Critical incident Debriefing. If a major incident, or accident, affects a large group of staff, we offer a critical incident debrief, to settle them down to work normally, as soon as possible. We have an excellent record in preventing the onset of post-traumatic stress symptoms.

Return support. If a member of staff is already on long-term sick leave, the appropriate level of contact from you whilst the sick leave continues will often affect how soon he or she returns. Our Supported Return Scheme, an eight-session counselling programme, with a phased return to full hours and tasks, makes the difference between a partial and a sustained recovery.

Additional services you may find invaluable: professional mentoring for directors and managers, team-building or away days, emotional intelligence workshops, personal or team profiling and presentation skills training.
